Repair & service — questions
What can you repair on a Modix 3D printer?
Everything — from routine maintenance and print-head service to motion-system repairs, electronics and wiring, bed leveling and calibration, firmware, IDEX setup, upgrades and complete rebuilds. If it's a Modix, we can service it.
Do you offer both in-house and on-site service?
Yes. You can ship or drop your printer to us for in-house bench service, or we come to you for on-site field service. On-site is available in Ontario and Quebec, with cross-Canada service arranged on request.
Do you service printers not purchased from Modix Canada?
Yes. We service all Modix models regardless of where they were originally purchased.
Can you do regular preventive maintenance?
Absolutely. Scheduled tune-ups keep your printer accurate and reliable and catch wear before it causes downtime.
Can you update firmware and reconfigure my printer?
Yes — firmware updates, board and configuration setup (Duet / Duex) and full calibration are all part of what we do.
Can you rebuild or refurbish an older or damaged machine?
Yes. We perform full rebuilds and refurbishments — replacing worn components, upgrading to current-generation parts and returning the machine to spec.
